Overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives and I always make sure to take friends or family when they come to visit, and I’ve never had a dissatisfied guest. But, most of the staff are really great! Also, if you go during a weekend it can get VERY crowded, which takes away from some of the enjoyment, so either go early or during the week. The only drawbacks are the hourly cost, which is pretty expensive and can easily cost over $50 for one hour if you have multiple people jumping, and there are a couple of older staff that will yell at you for the littlest infringement, like being too excited. This place is the perfect place for any active child (or adult) and will leave every guest ready for a nap by the time they leave. This is all complimented by the insanely cool murals covering the walls, making ever attraction an Insta worthy photo spot. And just when you thought you conquered it all you look up to see the inflated floor and extra long extended trampolines, where you can practice tricks. If that wasn’t enough there’s also the frequently redesigned parkour course and jousting battle beams, accompanied by the aerial slicks and giant swinging ring. There’s also the trapeze bar, giant swing, and zip line that launch you into foam pits, which are right next to the never-ending rock wall and professionally designed Ninja Warrior course, complete with two warped walls. Sure, there is a huge arena filled with trampolines that launch you into the air, some of which that have punching bags hanging above, but it’s the towering jumping platforms, intense dodge ball court, basketball dunking stations, and super tramps that start to set it apart, and that’s only the beginning. And you don’t have to go far the forest is a short drive from most of the other attractions in Damyang! Give yourself at least an hour or two to explore the bamboo gardens, then, after your stroll through the forest, make sure you head over to the Meta Provence and try some bamboo flavored ice cream! Then, take a walk along the Metasequoia Path.If you are seeking an epic experience that will get your heart pumping and face smiling, then you must visit Dojoboom! Some confuse it as a simple trampoline park, but they are so wrong. The bamboo forest is the perfect spot to get away from the bustle of the city for a while. Just a little further up the path is a children’s area including a playground. They’re small and simple but still beautiful! There are all kinds of cute panda bears climbing on the falls and surrounding the area (you’ll find cute panda bears all throughout the park!). The waterfalls were one of the most beautiful spots along the trails. See how many you can find along your walk! My favorite part was seeing the white deer hidden in the forest. There are numerous different sculptures, statues, and photo ops throughout the trails. Many rest areas are placed along the hiking paths where you can sit down, enjoy the shade, and relax your feet for a while. The bamboo forest has a lot of unique art installations and traditional Korean pavilions. The Perfect Summer DestinationĮven though the bamboo trees keep their color well into winter, the bamboo gardens make for the perfect summer destination! There is plenty of shade and, because of the high level of oxygen produced by the bamboo trees, the paths are an average of 5 degrees cooler than the outside air! However, the bamboo forests are also fairly popular in the winter when covered in a beautiful blanket of snow. One of the most popular walking trails is ‘Lovers Road’ where you will see couples of all ages walking hand in hand enjoying a bit of romance. While there are technically only 8 actual trails, there seemed to be so many different paths that forked off in every direction. It’s the perfect place to sip a cup of tea from the Observatory Cafe and enjoy the views of the metasequoia-lined roads in the distance. There is even a Hanok Culture Village located here as well (Siga Culture Village). You’ll see plenty of chairs, benches, and swings that are actually made from bamboo. There are tons of serene areas with wooden walkways over lily pad covered ponds and all kinds of pavilions to sit at. Inside each Sky Zone location, a wall-to-wall half-pipe made entirely of trampolines gives children and adults a venue where they can safely hop, bounce. (and became Defy in late 2019 and Sky Zone in late July 2022). The Juknokwon Bamboo Forest is so much more than just a bamboo forest. Sky Zone Thousand Oaks (formerly Defy Extreme Air Sports and formerly DojoBoom) opened at Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks on November 3, 2017.
